Bubble Paper
by SD
Buble paper is the greatest thing,
It can make me cry
And it can make me sing.
Every time I hear that pop,
Something inside me
Tells me to stop.
I jsut wish that all the nations
Of the land
Had a good supply of bubble paper,
Ready and on hand.
If we could all then just sit down and stop
Maybe then
In unison we could pop.
Then there can be peace without a trap,
And we owe it all to that bubble,
That bubble of wrap.
Can you tell I like bubble wrap!!!
Change
by DB
Summer has gone
Fall is here
My leaves are gone
I have to fear
Streets are deserted
Where people once played
Feet are inside
There they will stay.
Fall is gone
Winter is here
While on my lawn
I'm full of cheer
People drinking hot chocolate
With marshmallows too
And eating hot cake
Fod something to do.
Trip to the Water Hole
by BB
The Elephants lumber,
Steady and sure.
They know where to turn.
Some of them grumble,
They know it is far.
Someof them fear,
What they all know could come.
If their fears became real,
What would they do?
Would they run around scared?
Would they stop and protect the calves of theirs?
Despite their fears,
They lumber along,
Towards the water hole,
For drink and for fun.
The Final Homecoming
by CB
Your tiny body is weak and frail.
Your little face, wrinkled and pale.
I think of the fun we could of had
But now you slipped away leaving me very sad.
It would mean much more then you would ever know,
If only you could live and as I watched you grow.
I always wanted to be your brother and friend,
But it seems now, that this is the end,
It's not your fault you left us so soon,
I still remember that day, February the 2nd at noon.
The Drs gave you surgery as we hoped and prayed
But God called you home and that homecoming wasn't delayed.
In loving memory of Colson Lloyd Bargen July 6, 1996- Feb. 2nd 1997

Days Of My Life
By Author unknown
Time presses on in this depressing classroom,
My soul desires to be free.
I'm in here like a prisoner,
With no escaping.
I look out the window and long for the fresh air.
There is no freedom here.
Many are the assignments piling up,
But on their thoughts I cannot dwell.
So many things and even more time.
My concentration is fading.
Action momentarily ceases.
I drifted away into sleep.
I am rudely awaken,
But I am free!!
I feel as if I have been given wings.
I shall soar through the air like a silver bullet.
The day can only get better.
Such are the days of my life.
Leaving
by CC
My Dear,
Don't be sad.
Though we separate into two worlds.
Looking at the different sky,
divide by day and night.
Our heart still touching, connecting invisibly, not by hugging, not by kissing, is by feeling knowing.
Open your heart; can you feel someone......
Open your ears; can you hear something....
Open your eyes, open it slowly,
not in a hurry, just smoothly......
I am just right beside you.

Teach us to love each other
In all we do and say
Teach us in our decotions
How to be like you
And when I pray for others
Give me a heart that's true
A heart that sees what you see
